Habitat for Humanity summons people to build homes, communities and hope, as well as God's love in action. It is a non-profit organization that advocates and works for the right to adequate housing and the sustainable improvement of community habitat. Promotes the social and political recognition of adequate housing as a basic right.
Since its founding in 1984, Habitat for Humanity Nicaragua has benefited more than 10,000 families and more than 40,000 people with various alternatives for improving their housing conditions throughout their years working in the country.
Their most important goal is to "Create a world where everyone has a suitable place to live."
