Society and freedom

In the actual society many things have changed throughout time. Rights, opinions and people, have made an enormous improvement by the different situations the world has gone through. For example, the rights of the women, how women could express themselves, being the fact that before, in the past, women were basically nothing and were subjects just for marriage. Another thing is the way the government has been structured. In a sociological point of view, I can say that the government has been less authoritarian, and in now taking the people's ideas, and comments more often and serious. Back then everything was more strict and you needed by obligation, to do what the government said, and stated, not having the enough rights for you defend yourself from any exploitation or situation you are faced in. Another important fact is in the point in which people are mainly influenced by society. People, in this case mostly kids tend to be persuaded and raised by how the society is developed and teaches our lives being the different traditions, beliefs, norms, and culture we acquire meanwhile we are living in the country or city. For example, me as a Nicaraguan, I am a christian, Nacatamal and pinolillo lover. The different traditions, foods, cultures and beliefs I support and do were influenced by family in which were raised in the same way they are teaching me to. In conclusion, I can say that society gives us freedom in the fact of let’s say rights or opinions, but there will always be certain limits in which we will always be attached to the way we were raised or in this case to society.
