The project "Sí A La Vida" was founded in 1994, by as a program for homeless street kids, with the mission to rescue and provide rehabilitation services; in a loving, caring and respectful environment.
They first purchased "Casa Nuevo Amanecer", in Managua, and about 30 kids received educational and health services per year. After stabilizing in Managua, they went to "Casa José María" in Ometepe Island and established their official offices.

Sí A La Vida seeks for volunteers with primary or secondary teaching experience/abilities; teachers with Spanish language ability are required, as well those who can teach Mathematics, or English, however, teachers for non-academic subjects, such as arts, sports and/or mechanics, are more than welcome. The organization also seeks for volunteers who are willing to do building maintenance, construction and agricultural work.
Each of these volunteers must pass a background check in order to work with children.

If interested in volunteering, contact/send email to amigossalv@gmail.com
