Family meetings are one of the few socialization activities I engage in. When family comes to visit from other countries we usually gather all in one house, we discuss with each other about our family members  and play family games.

When going to the movies most of the time I go by myself, while waiting for the movie to start I talk with many different people at the lobby and start talking about many different things like sports, news, or the movie we're going to watch. This helps me get rid off my shyness and improves the way I socialize with other people.

Socialization!

For starters, socialization is a learning process, a process  that involves development or changes in the individual’s sense of self, it teaches us social order,  it is about gathering and implying , understanding and exchanging values, culture, norms, knowledge and even attitude, connecting with others around you, with groups such as friends, partners and of course your family.

Theres is indeed many ways one practices socialization, many places where we do so. School is one of the places where socialization is involved and where we practice it, socially interacting with other individuals, with classmates who can become really great friends, people you create meaningful bonds and significant memories with, despite many differences one can find with other classmates there is always a important priority and level of respect, atleast that is the case for me, i can find myself being the clown of the class but a clown that many respect i guess, never the less i seem to learn something every day especially with the group that i have been brought to which i believe is a very special group.

Another we can enter socialization, and a way i practice it is through my religion, in my religion i require to go to church every sunday and thursday if i can on special occasions. In chcurhc is where most of the socialization happens, there is always a time where we greet each other offering the peace to one another, a time and place where we all gather in  what is considered the mystical and spiritual habitat and body of christ as united community with the same or equal faith, anyone or everyone can and does volunteeer to help, gathering alms, reading the word of God, all in every way interacting and  sharing with one another something important, peace, knowledge, goodness.

Socialization

According to the book "Sociology, A Down To Earth Approach" written by James M. Henslin, socialization is the process by which people learn the characteristics of their group—the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, norms, and actions thought appropriate for them. 

Therefore, some of the socialization activities that are frequent to me, are:

• Family socialization, simply by the fact that they were and will always be, the first group to have a major impact on who I am; they taught me my initial motivations, values, and beliefs. On a daily basis, I socialize, talk, laugh and bond with my family, both before and after school, (usually we dine together and talk about our day), as well, as spending time together on weekends, and probably going out to the movies, or for lunch etc.

• Another socialization activity is going to school in general, because I spend most of my time there, with friends and teachers. We socialize by working together on projects (teamwork), having fun during breaks or lunch, discussing different topics, laughing, fighting and just enjoying our time there while also complaining over homework and/or stress. 

• And finally, another activity is, both assisting and participating at my church's activities/services/missions etc. There, I have learned values, morality, rules/behavioral expectations etc. but most importantly through these experiences, I have been able to meet people of all ages, from different places in Nicaragua and even from other countries; share stories, learn about different cultures and bond with each other; uniting us as a whole. 

Conclusively, each of these, are frequent socialization activities in my life, that have played a significant role in influencing who I am; by teaching me general attitudes, values, skills, norms and appropriate actions for each group in particular.

Socialization

Socialization is the process by which inidivuals, from birth through death, acquire values, attitudes, habits, norms, skills and actions of other group. This is a process by which people are able to incorporate into society and socialize with new people, learning about their ways of thinking and acting. There are many activities that involve socialization such as working in groups, hanging out with friends, going to church, among others.

Some of the normal activities that are frequent for me are:

1. Hanging out with my family to eat or to the movies. In this way we are able to socialize, and be more united with each other. When my father o my mother can, we use the time they have free and we hang out together. I love and enjoy hanging with my family, because we really have fun and sometimes, we also visit new places. My family are the ones who have taught me the majority of the values, norms, attitudes and habits since I was little, they have form who I am.

2. Another activity is spending time with my classmates. We constantly fight, but we usually reconcile easily. I think we enjoy being with each other and we really have fun. We are all different, but I think we learn everyday interesting and new things from each other. We learn to work and cooperate between us; we learn to respect and also how to be more caring for each other. Throughout all these years, I believe that we have learn how to love us.

In conclusion, these are just some of the activities that for me are very frequent, and which I think have form who I am. I believe that every opinion, habit, attitude, norm or value that are part of my personality are influenced every day by these people.

My socialization

As actual members of society, we all socialize every single day, many times a day. In this post I will describe some common activities that we all do in a regular basis. We take in count that we all speak the same language.

For me there are two main places where I socialize, outside school and inside the school. But I think school is the place where we all socialize the most, we all attend school 5 days a week and meet up with friends were we share and have fun. The school sets time for us to socialize, lunch is a period created for this, plus other various recreational activities that help us socialize. We can also count extra curricular activities. Socialization is the main human activity, and so it is done everywhere. Even if we should not socialize in class, we all do (we talk sometimes), there is no way to stop human socialization completely. Wrapping up, In school we socialize through recreation and during team work in clases, and in extra curricular activities.

My socialization day

I wake up and get ready to school, i do not socialize during morning with any family members.
During the trip to school I sometimes talk with fellow teammates and friends.
During school I socialize during class (moderately) with my friends and fellow teammates. We socialize by making jokes, reading, discussing, or talking about hobbies. We also socialize during teamwork assigned in clases.
During lunch I socialize by recreational activities, (this is amongst the few times socialization takes place without words) like football. I socialize by sheer teamwork and experimenting with strategies in the field.
After school I may socialize by talking at the gym, etc.

Socialization is the process by which people  learn the characteristics of their group, the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, norms, and actions thought appropriate for them. In november 17, 2018, we realize an activity base on giving bath to the dogs. In here, we show how people interact with the others, we see social interactions by having people from diferent grades and helping washing the dogs and work altogether to finish their work. We had a lot of fun doing this activity, we spend a lot of time with each other, singing and talking, feeling excited when a dog arrived.

• Imitation: Imitation is when individuals follow, or "copy", other people's actions. This process usually happens at an early stage of our development. As kids, we tend to imitate others, especially friends and family, as they are the generally the socialization agents we more often encounter.

• Language: The acquirement of language comes hand-in-hand with imitation, as it is one of the main things we learn through other individuals. Language provides us with the ability of communication, making ourselves able to further understand the behavior of others. Using language, individuals are able to express themselves and exchange ideas with people.

• Social Interaction: Social interaction refers to the intercommunication and relationship one individual carries out with another individual, such as having a conversation. Nevertheless, it does not mean it has to occur in person, as it can also happen online. Social interaction helps us integrate ourselves better in society because it shows us an "insight" of current society. 

In conclusion, these are the major socialization activities that I perform on a daily basis. These factors play a significant role in my development because without them, I would have been a completely different person. They not only provide me with a sense of integrity but also guide me through the ways of society.

Henslin, socialization is the process by which people learn the characteristics of how a group works, it includes the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, norms, etc., that are important for the group. The process of socialization depends on many factors such as social class, gender, race, ethnicity, etc. Because of the variety of factors, the activities carried out by people to learn more about their class also differ. Specifically, I perform the following:

Talking about Interesting Topics (Religion) 

With my peers from school, whenever someone is confused about certain parts of their religion or they want to discuss opinions about religion in general. We talk about what we know from any religion and try to discover what the author wanted to say or we try to come up with possible answers to the confusion.

Playing Sports 

 

Another thing that I do is play sports with my classmates. We play a variety of sports, but most of them depend on cooperating with others. Sports like volleyball and football encourage us to develop bonds with each other, so we get to know with more detail about the in-depth personality of each person.


Studying and Doing Projects as a Group 

Lastly, I study and do projects with others as a way to socialize with my classmates. Through studying together we help each other understand the topics easily, and we share different methods of summarizing or simplifying topics. In addition, both working together and studying together can serve as a way to understand the relationship between the peers, how their personalities are, what they hate or like as a group, and many other aspects that will be useful to know one day or another.

Socialization 

I socialize as being part of a society. As an actual member of society, mostly everything I practice, do, and learn is thanks to socialization; the fact to use language and speak with my classmates and the teacher is socialization which makes me learn more about a topic or form part of a group. Socialization as part of life and culture is practiced each day, an example is defining sex. Gender socialization makes determine the sex of a person using the knowledge I have won in my years of life.

As a more open and easy way of socialization can be the imitation; this makes people learn how to act, so I do in school when I follow my teacher attitude and show my values to other without making them feel uncomfortable. IMitation makes a culture, kids follow the basis that their parents give them and makes them become part of a certain society which later on continues expanding with socialization.

Imitation: 

Is the action of copying or simulating other people behavior. From my personal experience my sister used to imitate me when she was around 3 years old, even today there are days where she likes to act like me. So imitation is more common to occur in children there are several theories which explains why they do this, one of them is that the kids are trying to figure out what the person is trying to do due that they are trying to understand why people do what they do.

Is a method of human communication that is spoken or written. Language is a social activity because is something that we use every day and we put into practice.
