Are we free within society?

We are not free within society, we will never be. Society demands what people do, feel and think. In order to survive or live in this world, is a requirement to be acceptable, we are puppets of society. Persuasion play a big role in society now a days, in the tv , magazines, social media, etc. they show a way of living, forcing unconsciously  people to want this type of “perfect life” and if you do not follow this, you are automatically an “outsider” just because you don’t follow and play by the rules society has put, and as I said, you are out. This people who stand for their beliefs and fights for what they want and not what society has told us, is discriminated. This is why I say, we will never be completely free, because even when there are laws that state every human has its right to be free, we all know that we are not. Mentally, the human being is affected by this type of things, the self-esteem gets low when they think they can’t reach “perfection”. Opening your eyes and be aware of your surroundings might help and allow you more freedom, but as I said, we will always be puppets of society.
